The symposium will bring together influential thinkers, urban sociologists, city planners, architects, policy makers, citizen groups and concerned corporate leaders from India and Germany.
The themes and panel discussions will include:
- philosophical vision statements,
- city-related plans & projects
- outcome of past and existing projects and
- interventions for improvement.
Prize Distribution for Human Space – Cultural Space Architecture Contest
A high-ranking jury will select three winning entries of the architecture contest for re-designing an MRTS station and surrounding, and prizes worth Rs. 100,000 will be distributed on 10 March. 128 students and recent graduates from Schools of Architecture in Tamil Nadu, the University of Technology Berlin and its Indian partners have taken part in the contest.
