In January 2013, the "Year of Germany in India" draws to a close. It's time to recall some especially beautiful moments, memorable events and exciting situations that occurred during these celebrations - we present a photo documentation by Tapan Pandit that reminisces about our activities during September 2011 and December 2012 - artists and audiences, performers, participants, contributors and passers-by... a multipolar view.
Spanning last 15 months we have celebrated the 60-year-strong diplomatic relations and a deep routed endearing friendship between Germany and India under the motto "Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities".
Tapan Pandit accompanied most of the programme activities as a photographer. He chronicled the stage design, focused on programmes and also captured some sensitive moments that are sheer poetry!
A selection of his photographs will be on view from January 26 to January 31st in "Galerie Max Mueller". We bid a fond adieu to the "Year of Germany in India" with this caleidoscope, and of course with a big Thank you note to all those who were part of this journey in some form or the other.
